
Riya Joshi
Riya Joshi is a PhD candidate at Kappler lab, SCMB, The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on nucleotide metabolism in Haemophilus influenzae, exploring metabolic pathways as potential drug targets to combat bacterial infections. With a strong background in microbiology and antimicrobial resistance, Riya has contributed to international projects, published multiple peer-reviewed articles, and played a key role in organizing global conferences on antibiotic resistance. She has also attended scientific conferences and served as a Communication Ambassador for the Australian Society of Microbiology (ASM).
